About Us

Bradninch Together started in March 2020 as a response to the Coronavirus pandemic.  It was an idea from Sophie West and Anthony Richards, who connected through The Revd Olly Mears.

They were soon joined by Sue Eakers and Luke Taylor and the team began creating a support service for the local community in response to the Covid 19 pandemic, involving a network of local volunteers.

Sally Livsey and Glenn Roberts joined and brought experience in financial oversight and mental health matters, and Kate Beith volunteered to set up and manage the website.

A lot happened very swiftly, involving many people.  Something of the story of the first year can be read here.

In January 2021,  Bradninch Together became a Community Interest Company, and at present it has six volunteer Directors: Anthony, Sophie, Sue, Sally, Kate and Jim.  You can read our most recent Annual Report here.

This formal organisation continues with a number of the activities previously set up, and it provides a legal and accountable platform for the holding of funds and the development of new initiatives to support the people of Bradninch Parish.
